Does Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort have Internet access? There’s good news and bad news. The good news is, they absolutely do have Internet!
High-speed Internet access is available in every guest room, and Disney even provides a cable to hook your computer up. The bad news: it will cost you $9.95 per day.
Another piece of bad news: the Internet access is NOT wireless. For information on how to set up your own wireless router in your resort room, see this Walt Disney World for Grown-ups article: Working Remotely and WiFi in Walt Disney World.
Once you plug the cable into your computer and pull up a web browser, you’ll see this:

The entry screen requests that you approve a charge of $9.95 on your room bill for Internet access. Once 24 hours passes, you’ll see this screen again and will need to approve the charge for each subsequent day of your trip.
If you need Internet access but don’t want to pay every day, try purchasing 24 hours of access in the evening, so you can use it then and through the next day. Then take a couple days off and get access again when you need it.
For more information about the Internet hook-ups and access at Caribbean Beach Resort, here’s the instruction card left in your room:
