CBR fans we have BIG news!
Today, as part of their 12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas, Disney announced some exciting new details about the changes coming to Caribbean Beach Resort. And, we have a possible end date as – for the first time – Disney says “later this summer” … which could mean summer 2018!
Let’s get into the details.
First, Old Port Royale is being “re-imagined as the port of entry” for the resort. Guests will check in at the central location and it’ll be home to the Centertown Market, Calypso Trading Post, and more.
The quick service dining at the resort will be the expanded Centertown Market which will be a”quick-service restaurant with an indoor street market vibe.” Grab-and-go items will also be available.
Shutters is returning to the CBR as a waterfront table service restaurant – located on the waterfront of Old Port Royale.
And, Banana Cabana is returning as a “festive poolside bar” featuring cabana-style drapes and repurposed steel drum tables.
Guests will also be able to shop at the re-imagined Calypso Trading Post.
And, according to Disney this will all be open in the summer! Fingers crossed!
